Sworn translation prices and turnaround times
The billing unit is a translation page of 1,125 characters, so the total price is known in advance and does not change during the work. The cost depends on the language pair, document length and urgency.
A standard sworn translation is usually ready within 1–3 working days; an urgent translation can be ready on the day you contact us. We provide a free, exact quote and turnaround time after receiving your scan.

Who is a sworn translator and how do they differ from an ordinary translator?
A sworn translator is a specialist who has passed a state examination and received official authorisation from Poland's Ministry of Justice to translate documents into and from Polish. They are authorised to provide both written translations and interpreting with legal validity. This gives the translation legal force: it is accepted by public authorities, civil registry offices, courts, universities, banks and consulates.
Their details appear in the state register of sworn translators. Each completed translation is certified with a personal stamp, signature and unique register number, together with a statement confirming that the translation corresponds fully to the original document.
If you submit a document to a public authority for a residence permit, marriage registration, university admission or court proceedings, you will need a sworn translation rather than an ordinary translation.
In Poland, the terms “notarised”, “certified”, “official” and “attested” translation are often used to refer to the same service: sworn translation (tłumaczenie przysięgłe). The electronic format is especially convenient for urgent translations: you can email the signed file directly to a public authority, university or employer without waiting for a courier. It is faster, more convenient and removes the risk of losing the paper original in transit, while also reducing paper use.
We offer sworn translations not only on paper but also electronically, with the sworn translator's qualified electronic signature. By law, this document has the same legal force as a stamped paper translation and is accepted by public institutions on the same basis.
